Re: anyone getting a Baby Jogger?
I have a Pliko P3 and a Dreamer Design jogging stroller. IMO it's necessary to have a regular stroller in addition to the jogger. Most jogging strollers are pretty bulky so not the best for in and out of the car. Also if the jogger has a stationary front wheel it will be difficult to maneuver through aisles and stores. I mainly keep my jogger in the garage and use it when we go out around my neighborhood. I love my Pliko, but the jogging stroller is so smooth and handles so well. I would use it all the time if it didn't take up so much room in the car. Also, I don't know if you're planning on running or just walking with the stroller, but you're not supposed to run with the stroller until the baby is at least 6 months old and they have enough head support. If you do just get a jogger I'd recommend finding one that is car seat compatible. It is so convenient to be able to just snap the car seat into the stroller instead of taking the baby in and out all the time and waking them when they're sleeping.

Re: anyone getting a Baby Jogger?
Once I am up to it I want to get back into running. It really helps me lost weight quick and I can do it whenever I want. The sales person did tell me about waiting 6months, so that's fine, that'll allow me to just walk and build myself up and run when I can without the baby.
The baby jogger has the moving front wheel and has the car seat attachment, that's why I wondered if I need another stroller. While it's 25lb (but I can lift it) it does fold easy in half.
I was thinking get just the jogger for jogging, park walks, and then a regular stroller for everyday. This way I get more life out of both.
I just don't know....baby gear is OVERWHELMING TO ME!

Re: anyone getting a Baby Jogger?
Now I have to decide if I'm going to get a regular double stroller AND a double jogger or just get one stroller! Even more overwhelming! You could probably get by with just the jogger if it has the car seat attachment. Have you tried putting the stroller in your trunk to see how much room it takes up? Mine folds in half pretty easily, but it's still kind of bulky. The front wheel can come off to make it more compact, but I can't be bothered with that every time!

Re: anyone getting a Baby Jogger?
Yikes, even more decisions.
It's hard and sales people just want to sell products! It'll be almost april when the baby is born, and we'll be in NC, so I know it'll get use. I just don't want to be a spaz as a first time mommy!
Maybe we can get the jogger and car seat and if we find we want a regular stroller, get that afterwards?
