I used Retin-A Micro (basically the same thing) for my acne. It works really well but made my skin very dry, it was constantly peeling no matter what.
I have sort of sensitive skin so that may have been why. I switched to Azelex 4-5 years ago and I've never looked back.

Yes. I used to use it before TTC DS. I used it in conjunction with Duac and an oral antibiotic so I can't speak to its effectiveness on its own. I know that it not only helps acne but also helps wrinkles! Definitely be careful in the sun if you are using it, it makes skin super sensitive.

I didnt use that, but, I just finished a 2 month antibiotic called Doryx. I had horrendous BACKNE from pregnancy, just horrible. I had some acne near my hairline, all from preg. I started taking it 2 mos post partum, and my entire back and face cleared up so unbelievably amazing!! Ask your derm.

is that the Metro-Gel?
Is it a clear gel? If so I have used it and loved it. i have used every acne med ever made (exception--accutane)
Currently i only use retin-a, but I need to get back to the derm and get more metero gel. It's awesome and non drying.

I used it a long time ago. It can also be used to fade scars. The only thing I did not like is that it will definitely make the skin a lot more sensitive and you can't really have your eyebrows waxed while you are using it b/c the skin peels differently and you would be ripping off skin along with hair. I was finally able to get my eyebrows done if I took a 5 day break but even then there was a bit of peeling. This happens even if you do not apply it to the eyebrow area. It spreads beneath the skin. That was a huge side effect but it was a great product.

OMG im SOOOOO glad you mentioned this. I have an eyebrow wax appt tomorrow. Totally canceling. Look slike i will be plucking
