anyone end up with kidney stones?

I went to the ob/gyn last week and he called back to tell me the lab sent back that there are crystals in my urine. I dont know much but I heard they can come together and make huge stones that you cant pass. I originally thought I had a uti.

I ended up not only with a 5 mm stone in my left kidney, but I ended up with a blocked, infected and enlarged kidney right after my DD was born. I spent a week in the hospital when she was 3 weeks old I had a stent put in to open up my blockage and did not have the kidney stone removed, and so far so good. Best to get yourself taken care of!

i believe its due to tums or rolaids from heartburn its a calcium deposit. i had very bad kidney stones in hs and college had growing pains and was told to take tums. doctor told me the calcium doesnt break down and sticks to the kidneys. solution was to drink beverages with lime or lemon it breaks up the stones. i drink tea with lemon, sparking water with lime an anything with lemon or lime. have not had a stone in 7 years. good luck. fm me if you have questions
