Anyone else's short term memory shot??
I seriously can't remember anything anymore.
Names of songs.
Names of people.
Where I put things.
What I wore yesterday.
Hell, I bet if I closed my eyes right now I couldn't tell you what I'm wearing TODAY.
Does this go away at some point, or did the little bugger suck away my short term memory forever?
And forgive me if I post the same thread tomorrow.

I sometimes cannot even finish a sentence  I think it's because our minds are spinning all the time. I tell DH all the time ... I am constantly running through what I need, what DS needs, what DH needs what the house needs, etc .... it never stops, even subconciously - my mind is everywhere. I cannot concentrate.

mine!!!!
i used to have the BEST memory...now its gone...i forget EVERYTHING!!! it awful...i to hope it comes back, but im thinking ive lost it forever...i would probably forget to find it again

I asked DH to do something last night. His response... "Um, Felice, you already asked me to do that and I already did it!". I also told him the same story twice!
Now granted, I am pregnant so this little bugger is definitely stealing a lot of the brain power but I don't think I really got it fully back after having Jeremy! There is no hope for us mommies!

Oh yes. I'm lucky if I remember my name, and the other day I found myself calling my son Michael (his name is Matthew, Michael was never a name we considered).

I'm so glad you posted this! I seriously was beginning to worry. I forgot what I am talking about while telling a story and wonder aimlessly through a room trying to remember what I went in there for. I was always so diligent and "on the ball" and now I just feel wishy washy.

This is me too. I get embarassed sometimes when speaking to adults because I wonder if I make any sense . I also think that all my memory cells went to DS since I am lucky I remember my name yet he remembers EVERYTHING!!!

It's not only that I can't remember things, it's like I get super confused.
Yesterday I was thinking, "Well, summers almost over so..." Then I realized it was spring.

Seriously...I have zero memory. I write lists for my lists cause I always lose the original list. I blame all the alcohol consumption in my teens. It's finally caught up to me.

But seriously.. YES.. iME TOO.. I cannot remember ANYTHING and it's really bad sometimes. Meanwhile my husband seems to think it's "only me" that could possibly be THAT forgetful ..
I will need to bookmark and show him this thread later so that he knows its fairly normal for new moms.. (that is if I REMEMBER to show him  )

On the way out to the park this morning, I checked the mailbox...walked to park...came home...no keys.
I was driving myself crazy looking for them!
As I head back out to the park to see if I dropped them, I notice my mailbox door opened with my keys hanging out.
