Anyone else's periods EVIL after having kids
Mine are awful now!
The second day is so heavy, I get a horrible headache, bad stomach issues  and terrible cramps.
I literally felt like I had the flu this morning.
Thankfully it's only bad like that for 12-24 hours.
It wasn't like this after my twins but after 3rd
Anyone else?

Yup! They are just awful! Headaches and lightheaded, the pains (I can't even call them cramps they hurt so much) and they are pretty heavy for the first 3-4 days and then they get super light. It was not like this after the twins. The good thing is I'm regulated now so i know the exact day they are coming and I try to mentally prepare myself. Ugh!

I'm going through my first pp period now. It feels like my vagina is falling off and tiny angry men are stomping on the inside of my uterus.

Yes right after they were awful. So heavy and very painful. It does get better though. After about 6 months thankfully they were more normal!

Update: Day 2 of my first AF postpartum. The tiny men inside have stepped it up a notch and are now bowling on my uterus. Unfortunately, my vagina did not fall off overnight. I wish it had, because that would be better than the current state of affairs.

Yep. My periods are now like crime scenes!
I never had to even use a super tampon and now i have to use super plus and soak through those in a few hours.
But it's only the first day and part of the second.
Then it slows down.
I also get worse PMS, anxiety before my period, depression and mood swings.
Way worse than before.
However, I never really had cramps before having a baby and I still really don't have cramps. Very mild if I do so I am lucky.
But my moods- GOOD LORD.

Yes...much more heavy than before DD and they last longer too. And I also get VERY bad PMS/mood swings. Like, 'everyone stay away from me' bad...I keep meaning to mention it to my doc, but I forget.

Mine are heavier. Cramps are worse and the back pain puts me out of commission starting about 4 days before my period actually comes. I stupidly thought it got better after birth but apparently I was soooo wrong...

This is me, too -- I've found some relief with Traditional Medicinals Tea -- Female Toner. Really helps with the mood swings but AF is still brutal. Lasts over a week and I am constantly buying tampons. 
I was so spoiled being PG or nursing for six years.

My PMS anxiety right before is worse. My cramps in my uterus aren't as bad as they were prebaby but my VaJay seriously feels like it is being stabbed and falling out of my body. It is also much heavier then before

It's funny reading this thread because yesterday was day 2 of AF and I was soooo miserable. I felt so sad, depressed, irritable. I cried my whole car ride home from work. I sobbed when I got home. Yes, I was having a bad day, but it felt so much worse than it should have. I was just miserable. I felt like I was clinically depressed or something
And now today, on day 3, I feel like a new person. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me. I feel like I can breathe. It's so strange what a difference a day makes.
Hormones are just evil.
I want to try that tea mentioned here though.
