Re: anyone else work on their feet

Me! I'm a teacher. I want to work as long as I can...just wondering how well I can handle it. I gave them a date of June 12 just to be safe (I'm due June 21) but I'm hoping to go at least until the 19th if possible. I know, I'm nuts. I just have no clue how I'll feel!

I teach, too. I am going to try to go all the way, if possible. In very comfy shoes.

Hmmm...that's tough. You can't really plop down, can you? Plus you kind of have to look cute, too....

I too am a teacher. I am due June 21st and I am going to try to make it as long as possible. But June 12th may be my last day. We shall see how it goes!

Re: anyone else work on their feet

yeah I have a very physical job! Im a massage therapist, stretching specialist and I teach.
I already cut back to maximum of 4 appointments per day but I have a sever case of sacral-iliac pain and after a while my back just kills...
Now I have sciatica but no pain just complete numbness down the path although the doctor told me I will eventually have pain (gee thanks something else to look forward to!)
So I figured Im going to have to cut down to 3 appointment a day...the nurse looked at me and said maybe just 2!

Im 24 weeks 4 days and today the numbness in my leg and the pain in my back was bad enough to cancel the one appt I did have today...although I was working all morning on my feet teaching. Oh and my feet have been puffy for weeks already! Somedays better then others

Just wanted to add...one more week then school is done!!!Chat Icon

Re: anyone else work on their feet

i'm going to try to go all the way, or at least make it through may (due june 7th) though i'd rather not... but i have to. i also walk to and from work (1.5 miles each way) and don't have a much better option so i may have to figure that out. i'm just glad my grad classes end at the end of april/beginning of may...

i just went out today and bought a pair of crocs (the kind that look like cute flats - not the clogs) so i'm hoping those will help and they're so nice and light/cushion-y... i did have to buy a size up though because i'm so swollen already! Chat Icon
