Anyone else experiencing horrible migraines??

I am currently at 15 weeks. Over the past 2 weeks ago I have been getting horrible migraines!! I don't have allergies so that is not it. It always starts around the same time every day...about 4 pm. Starts as a small pain then works into a full blown migraine about an hour later and lasts for hours!!! I have tried taking Tylenol but it does nothing. Can't sleep because it is so bad. Anyone else experience this and have any remedies that worked for you? I appreciate any suggestions! Hopefully it goes away really soon!!! Thanks!!!

I had terrrrible headaches throughout my first trimester. It stinks! Also my doctor told me that pregnancy can bring on bad allergies so while in the past you may NOT have had them they may start thoughout your pregnanacy Chat Icon

ETA: Have you cut out caffiene? this could be adding to it. A soda or cup of coffee helped me when the headaches got bad!

I did during my 2nd trimester...it was horrible! But don't worry it will end eventually! I had about 2 weeks of bad headaches and then they just went away!

I am right there with you. Tylenol, a hot shower, and rest seem to help a bit, but on days when it's just me and my daughter I'm screwedd. My doc said it's pretty common, and not to worry to much.

OMG I have been getting them also and I am not a big fan of taking OTC to begin with so I just try to drink a little caffeine and then also if I am home rest in a dark room.

Re: Anyone else experiencing horrible migraines??

I've never had migranes before but I am pretty sure i got a few last week. I was so sensitive to light and the uncomfort was unbearable. I never took anything for it, just kept putting my head down. Last Sunday after chirch I decided to just lay down for a while and worke up 3 hours later...I guess I needed it. I havent had any this week, i hope yours stop soonChat Icon Chat Icon

During my first - I had the worst from 15-16 weeks. I couldn't even trun my head.

Now I notice them, when my bp goes up (feet swelling, etc)

Yes! Mines started to be really bad last week. I had such a terrible headache last night I went to bed early hoping for it to go away and work up with it.
