Anyone else end up with no embryos?
I had 27 eggs retrieved last week, 17 fertilized. I had 2 transfered via blastocyst and I found out today that none of the rest made it to the freeze stage. I guess the quality was not good.
So, if I have to do this again, we have to start from scratch. No FET for me.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal?

i just did my transfer a little over a week ago and i ended up with no embryos to freeze either. i was so upset. all along, i kept telling myself that if the fresh round didnt work that i would have a frozen round as a back up. now i dont even have that. i am just praying that this worked!

I know it's hard because I was in your place of anxiety only a few weeks ago, but try not to focus on the frozen embryos, but instead on the two lovely, healthy blasts living inside your belly right now - a FET won't matter when you get your BFP from those two embies

Hi, I FMd you but for IVF#1, we had none to freeze. We were told it was due to poor egg quality. But there are things you can do to improve that.

I've done 4 cycles and only have 1 frostie. My very first cycle, I was lucky I had any to transfer!!! It worked out for the best though so don't give up. The strongest survive and those are inside you right now.

The same thing happened to me. I had 28 eggs retrieved 18 fertilized 2 made it to blast and none left over to freeze. I was freaking out but thank God we got pregnant and had DD. Good Luck

I am trying my best to think positive, since everyone keeps saying the same thing: to concentrate on what I have in me right now. It's hard because I always thought in the back of my head that we would do a FET right away if this did not work. Well, now we decided we will just do another fresh one if that is the case! We are going to be in debt but we have no choice.
I just want to know WHY this happened though. Any ideas since we are only dealing with severe MF. I plan to ask the RE on beta day.
