Anyone else constantly have issues with gap kids clothes?
I can't stand their stuff. I've had holes in brand new jeans, buttons fall off after one wear, and today we had a zipper break on a hoodie. Even the t-shirts always come out of the wash misshapen. It's so frustrating. I rarely shop there but mil always gives us tons of stuff from there as gifts and we don't have a store close by for returns or exchanges

I have had an issue with the zipper breaking on a hoodie and it was either brand new or only worn once or twice. No other issues though.

Gap clothing has definitely declined. I shop at the Outlet all the time and the clothes are basically disposable.

My daughter managed to get a hole that went from one thigh, up the crotch, and down the other thigh. I complained to my sister who works at the gap in commack and she said that she never gets complaints.

I shop at the Gap a lot for my dd and I rarely have an issue with the quality of the clothing. The time I did have an issue I called customer service and complained- I returned the items and was given a replacement and a discount off a future order.

Most of my kids clothes come from there. Aside from DD's leggings always getting holes in the knee (but she slides on them all the time), I haven't had any problems. I find the quality at the outlet is not the same.

It's hit and miss. I find the boys stuff is better than the girls. We had an entire wardrobe shrink in the wash. I actually ask for clothes from a certain brand from family (i.e.: I love Gymboree because their stuff matches old collections that I have from previous kids).
I'd much rather get a few items that wash & last than a bunch of items that get ruined!!!

Yes! Quality is definitely down hill. I honestly don't LOVE all the designs themselves, but I swear by Kohl's Jumping Bean brand for my 2 year old. They've held up better than anything else.

I really haven't had any issues with their stuff. Its my go to place. My kids out grow things before they outwear and i have found the girls leggings to be near indestructable - we've only thrown out 1 pair in 5 years.

Yes! 100% agree. The Jumping Beans line has survived hundreds of washes, arts and crafts accidents, grass stains, food messes, etc. With a 30% off coupon, it's like $5.99 a piece. Can't beat it.

Gap Outlet stuff is not same as regular Gap. It is made specifically for the outlet. That stuff is poor quality and runs very small.

Aside from one pair of jeans, this stuff is not from the outlet.

I would say most of my boys' wardrobes are from there and I have never had any issue (Now I hope I didn't just jinx myself!)

We have a lot of clothes from there and only have had issues with sizing - I have a ton of the "same" pants in the "same" size - some are too small, some are too big and some are just right (eta - they are from different years since I have two DS' but, the same style/named pant).
I've been buying more from Kohls recently as well.
