Gap Baby Clothes...Your opinion on size
I jsut bought some up to 3 month items - wow they look small. Now I'm just not sure if they are small or if reality is setting in that an 8lb baby is really small. The tags say 7-12 pounds.

gap clothes always seemed to be true to size. vs other brands...
8 lb baby is fine in 0-3

I bought mostly 0-3 months for my daughter...she was 7lb4oz when she was born and the stuff was HUGE on her.....the babies are just small!!!

I had a teeny tiny baby [under 6 pounds] and found that while she swam at first, the baby gap clothes pretty much always fit her for the "age" markings. i will admit that she was able to wear 0-3 for about 4-5 months...BUT 3-6 fit better obviously. she was that baby who really fell into the age/weight ratios on clothes not just the weight. i will say that after about the 6 month mark, "cheaper" brands do tend to be less true to size so look for sales!

My daughter grew out of Baby Gap/Old Navy clothes first in every size. Carters/Childrens place clothes are bigger in the same labeled age range.
