Anyone else borderline anemic?
I am and Im soooooo tired !! I am trying so hard to eat things with extra iron but its not helping.
I went to DMV today to finally change my last name and they had to take a new ic and when she showed me the pic on the comp. under my eyes were black . She said if I come back 6 mnths after I get my liscense I can get a new pic for free which is cool !

I was anemic with my first pregnancy and they gave me iron pills to take.

I am anemic,even without being pregnant. I have to take iron pills, eat spinach and so on. I cant give blood or anything. You will be tired alot, I remember my grandma who was a nurse explaining that when u are anemic, there is a lack of oxygen to the brain so it makes you sleepy. A dr told me once to eat raisins, pumpkins seeds also help. If you notice, you will want to eat ice ALOT. It is all with the package.

Same here even more so with my second pregnancy. Sucks the life right out of you if you aren't careful.

I was slightly anemic before pg and my OB told me to take an iron supplement with my prenatals each day.
I also make sure I eat a lot of spinach.

yes, i too am borderline anemic.. doesnt feel borderline though since I am dizzy alot of the time. I take Slow Fe and its working well I think. I told my OB that even taking iron, im still dizzy and she suggested to drink alot of water (which i am NOT good at doing at all) and to eat lentils, beans and that sort of thing. Its not fun.. im always tired too.

All i like is ice chips! My hematologist wants me to have an infusion because I can't take the pills and right now I am like NO WAY. They had the infusion nurse talk to me and the side effects are to scary to me! I am trying with diet, but I need an appetite first
