Anyone else afraid to exercise?

I've gained 15 lbs. in 15 months. I've went up and down so many times, mostly down in weight until recently. I've always said that I was going to lose the weight and get back working out in the gym. I've always been into it, but had to close my membership in June due to moving and money. Anyway, I haven't been in a gym since then and I'm so not use to it. Besides the weight I've gained, I have absolutely no muscles anymore. I used to be cut, etc. But now I'm a blob and I hate the way I look. What happens is that I start working out strong the week AF comes and until I'm suppose to "O". Once I "O", I just can't workout anymore. I'm so afraid that I'll knock something loose if I'm lucky to get PG. So, I just can't seem to lose weight anymore. At least when I was at the gym I'd still do weights and the elliptical, but now all I can do is my Taebo and taking the dogs for a run. Big no-no in my book when hoping for implantation. How do I lose weight while TTC? Chat Icon

continue to work out but when you are O'ing do light exercise. light walking, it will take longer to get your heart rate up and burn calories but you will keep up with the momentum. good luck.

Re: Anyone else afraid to exercise?

I wouldn't start training for a marathon, but a normal amount of excercise is fine. You're not going to "knock anything loose." If anything, it may regulate your cycle, making it easier to ttc. Excersize is great for alleviating stress and burning estrogen-storing excess body fat.

edited for spelling.

I don't understand how exercise would affect ttc'ing? Chat Icon Chat Icon
I think our bodies are able to handle a little exercise while any implantation is potentially happening - we ladies are pretty resilient Chat Icon

Agreed, exercise is fine, and my dr. confirmed. As long as you aren't gasping for air, your body can handle it.
