Anyone doing anything special on DC's actual bday?
My dd's 1st bday is next month and on a Thursday. My MIL will be visiting from S. Carolina and both my DH and I took off from work. But I don't know what to do! lol
Anybody do something special on their kids actual birthdays? Go out to breakfast, toy store???

For Ryan's first birthday DH worked and I took him to White Post Farms with our best friend and her daugheter (and DS's best friend).
This year DH was off. So we took him to Adventureland.
Ryan's birthday is in June.

For Colin's first bday we took the day off and just spent it toghether and had the immediate family come over for a bbq and cake.
For Seamus' first bday we all went pumpkin picking and then did dinner and cake with the immediate family that night

yes we took her to a farm to feed the animals and then out for Ice cream! That is something we are going to keep doing every year the Ice Cream
