We went to Bermuda in may
Weather was ok,temp wise was nice but due to wind and rain all Our excursions for cancelled and the pool on deck was closed. Good have just been a fluke
We still had a great time and since We pre Paid for the excursions we drank for free and they ended up owing us money after lol

We went in June a few years ago. It was nice to sit on the beach and by the pool but the ocean was absolutely freezing. There was no swimming in that.

I thought it was more like North Carolina weather? It's much further south than NY I don't see how it could mirror NY weather

We went last year end of May/first week of June and it was like 65 and rainy the whole time. Super disappointing.

Ps we cruised down and it was sooooo rough. I never get seasick and I was out of commission for two days. Much rougher than sailing from NY to the Caribbean.

Re: Anyone cruise to bermuda in may or june?
We went in May last year. Going down there it was a bit chilly. I Was personally too cold to hang out by the pool on the ship although plenty of people did. Bermuda's weather was perfect. It was near 80 and sunny the whole time. The water was cold but swimable and honestly I don't think I could handle going there in August with that heat/sun. I got burned as all hell as it is in May!

We've gone several times at the end of May and it's always been really nice. Warm, sunny- high 70s, low 80s. We were lucky and had very good weather leaving NY, too. Only one year was it chilly and windy in NY.

We went in mid June and it was lovely. Hot actually, in the high 80s. I had no problem swimming in the ocean.

I won't write the snarky response I want to.
OP- I've been to Bermuda 10 times or so in the recent past. When it's hot in NY, it's hot (perhaps hotter) in Bermuda. When it's spring like there, it's been spring like here. Bermuda is an island, but it's not a tropical, Caribbean island like say Aruba or Barbados, etc. as others have said, water will be chilly, but air temp should be pleasantly warm.
Inbox me if you want to know the best beaches to go (where crowds won't be).

Additionally I went in August once and it was HOT HOT HOT. I guess the end of June is the ideal time to go.

I don't think it really mirrors NY weather either. The summer season is longer. In the winter it doesn't snow.
It also takes a while for the ocean to heat up, so if you are planning a trip that is peripheral to summer break, I would likely go for September over June.

What exactly did I say that would make you post this? Super curious what your snarky response would be when I was asking a genuine question, as I heard many times from many people that the weather in Bermuda is like that of North Carolina.

I was wondering that myself. I agree though. Bermuda mirrors the temps of North / South Carolina. Its been in the high 60's low 70s this week.

I have heard the same- the weather is similar to North/South Carolina which honestly is NOT the same as NY. And if you look at a map, it makes sense as it's off the coast of the Carolinas. Not sure why the drama?

Not meant to be dramatic. Didn't appreciate that my opinion and experience couldn't be seen as possible. I stand behind Bermuda is very very similar to NY in spring and summer. If people don't see that as possible, whatever. Moving on.

To answer the OP, early May could be iffy but June and later should be beautiful.

Read the post you quoted again. Your responses were totally uncalled for.
There actually isn't anything for you to "stand behind" because your first statement is different from your second, in which you added a qualifier, which made you slightly less wrong.
And that's the snarky response I wanted to write.

I don't get it either. I guess it's because I dared to question the Bermuda expert? Shame on me, won't happen again.
