Anybody take Zithromax more than once while pregnant?
I am on it again...I have a terrible sinus infection and I am really achy. I was on it earlier in the pregnancy. Its terrible...I really tried to stick it out but the congestion and pain are just worse

Hi- I had to take zithromax twice with this pregnancy for a terrible sinus infection. I was a mess. The drip from it was so bad that I couldnt stop coughing. The Drs all reassured me that its a class B antibiotic which makes it perfectly safe to take while pregnant.
I will say that I also used rhinocort once a day in each nostril and I have been for 2 months now. This was prescribed to me as well. It has helped so much!! Lastly try using a neti pot 3 times a day to keep your sinuses clean and free of germs. Totally helps!

I also had to take it twice.. once for a really bad sinus infection and then the second time to make sure it didnt come back.
