Anybody pro-life?

I was thrown under the bus with what I thought was a feel good story for those of us TTC, but I found out WRONG!!!! Geesh, I am now diagnosed to have a pituitary tumor and I'm glad no one here is my doctor.

It looks like I'm on the wrong website for people that care for others. Is anybody else there? Or shall I move on?

Re: Anybody pro-life?

So what you are saying is that people who don't agree with you "don't care about others"? Having a pituitary tumor has nothing to do with the pro-life/choice issue.

You weren't thrown under the bus because of your views, you were harped on because you posted an article about abortions on a board full of women who are TTC. If reading about abortions is your idea of "inspiration" while trying to conceive, then accept the fact that you will be in the minority.

Considering you subject-lined both your posts about "ruffling feathers", it's obvious that is exactly what you were looking to do.

Amy

ETA, I also find it interesting that for someone who proclaims their intense love for God would be so judgemental of people with opposing views. Nowhere did anyone make digs at you about your views, yet you're ready to pack it in because "people on here aren't pro-life".

whether people are pro-choice or pro-life is not the issue on your post....your story is preaching and you went over board on it....

Exactly. That was a story to make you feel bad and was very preachy.

I agree. I think that the majority of women on this site are smart enough to make their own informed choices about issues like this, and posting things like that cause drama.

a story preaching about your opinion on abortion has NO PLACE on the TTC board.

I'm very sorry that you feel it belonged there.

Since you clearly equate "caring for others" to pro-life, I would suggest that you look for chat boards that are focused on pro-life as this is not the predominant topic of discussion here.

Your "feel good" story was anything short of that in my opinion. It went overboard.

Well put! Had you just left this post the the FHF board, I'm sure nobody would've made a big deal.

And making the assumption that TTC = Pro-life was offensive.

Re: Anybody pro-life?

Are we all done giving this the attention and energy that it clearly doesn't deserve?

Can we all just agree that we don't agree and move on?

Let's not give drama more drama..

this has been a public announcement of the anti-drama thread council.

Regardless of your stand on abortion the TTC is not the place to post an article on it. Shame on you.

I am pro-life- and in general (IMO) there was nothing wrong w/ your story- but it was unnecessary to repost it in the TTC section...
