I don't even know why they had her daughters there, it was SO awkward. You think after growing up on TV you'd be a little more comfortable in a TV interview.

Oh gosh what a nail biter. She definitely seems like an overbearing parent but I think maybe they just got shy and clammed up. Who knows but it was painful to watch most definitely

Just watched it on YouTube. What was surprising to me was that the girls said they would want to do another tv show. Hard to believe considering they both froze like deer in headlights during the interview.

First I was like wow I can't believe how big those girls are now!
Then I immediately wanted to change the channel cause i was CRINGING. I watched with 1 eye open cause it was just so painful lol

Seriously that was so unbelievably awkward and uncomfortable to watch. The one daughter looks complete drugged and the other just seemed pissed at Kate. Those poor girls definitely dont want to be there

I'm sure they probably didn't want to do with this, some PR machine got them into the magazine and forced them into this.
"Oh, you want me to say it?" ie. This was your part of the script, but since you're not talking I'll say it.

So strange and awkward! It seemed like the interview was set up just FOR them, to give their opinion and then they were like, oh, nevermind, we have nothing to say! (except that I'm sure it was in no way their idea to set up this interview. Almost seemed like they were trying to pi$$ off their mother)

Totally agree. Kate is DESPERATE to stay in the limelight and her girls are clearly sick of it. Good for them for not playing along!

I think Kate wants to be in the spotlight so bad she will do anything to keep her name alive.
I just watched the Jon interview on Wendy Williams and he seems more normal then she does.
Those kids looked like they wanted nothing to do with the show, maybe they did get stage fright but still. It was like they were afraid to say what they really feel. I honestly don't think Jon would let his kids do another tv show. I think all the bad stuff said about Kate is true.

I love how she said people keep saying bad things about them. really? Was anyone really talking about them until the People Magazine article?
I actually didn't think it was that bad--I thought Kate did a decent job and keeping things moving. I wonder if Cara was nervous or if they were just being moody teenagers & didn't wan to do it.
At least her hair looked good!
And the sextuplets are 9!

Painful and awkward to watch. Maddy has always been a very nasty little kid on the show and I think she takes after her mom these kids don't realize that once they fade out of the spotlight, they will be broke.
I also saw Jon on Wendy Williams, and he is the normal one. I watched the all the shows, she is the lunatic

And just like that Jon Gosselin (Michael Lohan 2.0) swoops in for some publicity!
From US Weekly
"I felt upset. I was laying there with Liz [Jannetta] and we were like, 'Say something girls. Come on! Just say something. Anything.' And they didn't say anything and we were like, 'Ugh, this is horrible,'" the 36-year-old said of watching the segment with his girlfriend. "Then I felt really bad. I mean, I didn't care too much for Kate or whatever, but I felt really bad for Mady and Cara because I love them and they're just put in this situation. It was like deer in the headlights."
"It just kind of proves my point of Kate bringing the kids out instead of her just sort of doing it herself," he explained. "It all blew up in everyone's face and I feel horrible for my children because now they're going to have to deal with the public."
Why did his daughters shut down? "By body language they were probably like, 'What's the moral thing to do and what does my mom want me to do?' They were torn and they just shutdown," he reasoned. "It was just a classic case of being silent. You get to a point where you are like, 'I don't know who to please. Do I please myself or do I please my parents -- or my mother?'"
So does that mean he thinks his ex "manipulated" the two? "In my heart that's what I believe, that's how I feel. Can I prove it? I can't prove it, but you can't take my feelings away from me. I feel that way," he said.

However brutal the moment was, Jon added that he's staying positive for his girls. "I just texted Mady and Cara today and said, 'You guys looked great and I love you and have a good day in New York,'" he said. "I didn't really talk about it. I'm just here to offer them support and be their father."
