I also heard pineapple core. Cut into 5 pieces and eat one piece each day for five days after ovulation. Also walnuts and dairy

It could have just been timing, but I did the pineapple core the month I got my BFP.

exactly. the best thing you can do in the 2ww is relax and distract yourself as much as possible.

seriously, once you have confirmed ovulation and have appropriately timed BD or IUI, assuming you take any real meds you were given by a Dr, there really is NOTHING you can do. it is completely out of your hands. let it go and let nature take its course Chat Icon

good luck!

Agreed! After getting pregnant multiple times, I can tell you I did all those hokey things- and then I did nothing - and what will be will be.

I..... kept my feet warm, ate warm foods, ate pineapple, grape juice, wore special socks, laid on my left side, meditated, went to acu, put myself on bed rest, avoided caffeine... It either worked or it didn't. The one thing I truly believe makes a difference is to stay as relaxed and optimistic as you can. It may sound silly, but I truly believe an "unwelcoming" environment (i.e. negative, bitter, pissed.. ) can cause implantation failure. It's my own theory.

This! I just remained as calm and relaxed as possible. I don't buy into any of that stuff. Just stay positive and think it is going to happen! No negative energy what so ever!! Thats what the psychic told me! !

Yup I agree. THe months I did anything to help never worked. The month I didn't try and drank tons and relaxed was the month (after 2 long years) I got my BFP.

We happened to have a pineapple and I saved the core because I remembered something related to TTC. So, you just cut it up and eat it? isnt it kind of gross? Chat Icon

I have it hanging out in the fridge wrapped in plastic wrap lol

I cut it into smallish pieces and blended it with ice and some OJ into a smoothie.

Re: Any tips to help with implantation?

I don't agree with most RE's..lol
I have a belief that my acu put in my head that one must prepare the body for pregnancy.. I don't think there is a magic pill that can make a baby stick but many do believe different foods and ways of life can improve your body's ability to conceive. Just asking for those who believe this also and have tips.

Re: Any tips to help with implantation?

I have a yoga dvd set that I love. It has 4 different phases, and one is for the luteal phase. The poses that are used, meditations, and pressure points are supposed to help with implantation.

I know that logic says none of these things help, but I do feel that having a positive frame of mind and taking time to relax and visualize does help.

The set is called Restoring Fertility Yoga by Dr. Brandon Horn. I got it off of ebay.
