Any book recommendations for a Mommy to Be?
I have 3 days left to go until my Due Date. I wanted to go out today and stock up on some necessary reading for the 1st year. I have bought so far "What to Expect the 1st year" & "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child"
Any suggestions for other Books to buy?
I do plan on breastfeeding, so any recs there too?
Thank you Ladies!!!

Awww that's so cute... you think you're going to find time to read after having a baby! Just kidding! I'm not a great reader so I struggle with finding/making time but more power to you if you do!
My faves were two breastfeeding books I got from the library... "The ABC's of Breastfeeding" and "So That's What They're For" (sounds like a joke book but it had great info).
And both of these books I got way more than breastfeeding info from.
Have a happy healthy delivery... soon!

Re: Any book recommendations for a Mommy to Be?
Here is my list, I never followed any of these 100% but I learned so much from them, and I owe a ton of gratitude to the authors.
Breastfeeding made simple: seven natural laws for nursing mothers by Mohrbacher, Kendall Very helpful book, I wish I actually read it, before giving birth
Happiest Baby on the Block Book and DVD (or just watch clips on youtube), by Karp
Baby Sleep Solution, by Giordano and Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, by Weissbluth
These go together really well, I feel like they are in sync with a lot of the how to, spelled out in Giordano's book.
My new bible: Your Self-Confident Baby: How to Encourage Your Child's Natural Abilities from the Very Start, by Gerber
Its not mainstream, but I wish I wish I read it when I was prego, it would have saved me a lot of $$$, stress, and headache. I've been following the approach for a week, and DS is doing so well on it. He's so much calmer and happier, his frustrations over not being able to walk, teething, separation anxiety, everything, are at a minimum now.
Also I'm going to throw some advice that might get me killed .But never believe anyone when they say "its just a phase" or "that's just how they are at that age" there is reason to everything, and a solution. And your ped might have no idea what that may be.
