Recommend a book for a new mommy...
a friend is having a baby shower and the person organizing it is requesting everyone get them a book for their baby library.
what's a good book beside "What To Expect The First Year Book"?

Or Belly Laughs - great book!!!

If it's for the mom, not the baby, I would get a medical reference, like Dr. Spock, or I think the AMA puts out a Family Medical Reference book.

I would think they mean for the baby and not for the mom. I really like Pat the Bunny and any of the Touch and Feel books.

Is she from LI? How about Baby Friendly Long Island. I think you have to order the newer version directly from the publisher.
