Any advice for what to take when sick?
I feel SOOOOO crappy... throat, congestion, headaches, little trouble breathing, nausea (due to post-nasal drip and/or pregnancy), etc. I'm sure it's just a bad cold, and I'm only planning on going to doc if it turns into sinus infection.
I'm taking: -Tylenol every 5 hours or so. -Tums because I think the post-nasal drip is making me feel nauseous. - Halls Cherry Cough Drops (I'm avoiding ones with honey - is that being TOO paranoid? Honey is a no-no, right?) - English Breakfast Tea with Agave Nectar (green tea is a no-no and honey is a no-no) - Humidifier at night in hopes of being able to breathe/sleep.
Any more advice on what I can do/take?
Sorry I have a lot of questions today! I have issues!!!!!!

Re: Any advice for what to take when sick?
I was really sick at 16 weeks (in Nov). I took:
- regular Tylenol (CVS brand)... 2 pills every 4 hrs - regular Tussin... every 4 hrs - humidifier all day long - for stomach ickies (nausea, uneasiness, etc)... ginger anything! ginger tea & ginger candies were my daily staple.
Hope that helps!

I have never heard not to have honey... so you may want to ask your ob. I used it in my tea when sick

Honey is fine for pregnant women. It's a no-no for infants under the age of 1.

I have bronchitis and I was told to take and antibiotic and Musinex (not the one with the D, just the regular) it will help with the congestion.

You are allowed to use vicks vapor rub. I had one of the worst colds ever last week (which I'm still fighting) and I used it....it definitely helped break up some of the conjestion and I slept better.

Re: Any advice for what to take when sick?
I have Bronhitis right now and besides the antibiotic I'm taking Robitussin and sudafed. I use the humidifier at night and I drink water constantly. (Just make sure you go to the bathroom constantly, even if you don't feel like you have to pee you should go...I've had a few moments because I suddenly coughed or sneezed).

Re: Any advice for what to take when sick?
call your OB - mine was perfectly fine w/ me taking Tylenol cold which made me feel 100x better, and GET better 100x faster than if I'd taken nothing - If you have a cold and you're congested, regular tylenol and some cough drops aren't going to do anything for you -
