anxiety about having a baby
im not due till the end of march but could not sleep last night and have been feeling overwhelmed. i feel like this kid is going to come before its due date. i already took all of olivia's clothes out of the closet and put it in her big girl room and got the new baby room set up with neural clothes to start and coming home outfit. is this normal?

Girl, we gotta talk
I swear I had heart attacks throughout my pregnancy with Jack (though mostly how to deal with 2 kids so close in age).
BUT, in the end I'm here and I'm ok. Trust me, if I can do it you can.

Re: anxiety about having a baby
I feel the same way. I can't believe how quickly this happened.
I got preggers 8 months pp and I can't believe I have to use nursing pads again, the swaddle, wash out the bassinet- I'm so anxious about getting everything done- her room isn't ready, although she will be with us a few months. DS still is on the bottle and I wanted to try and get him off before she came.
She'll be here in less than three months.
I understand how you feel- I think what we are feeling is normal!

Re: anxiety about having a baby
Very normal. I've been like this for months and now DC is due in February already. DS was three weeks early so I feel like it's the waiting game. Yesterday I had to go an get stuff from BRU just so I'm ready. I'm packing my bag this week and writing all of my lists. I washed Liam's clothes a couple of months ago and finishing up the rest today.

Re: anxiety about having a baby
Totally normal! I was feeling like that too and had many a sleepness nights because I felt bad for DS. Like I was taking something away from him since he was so young. Then I felt bad for DD who was still in my womb because I was dwelling on the pregnancy like I did with DS's, I felt like it was catch 22. In the end everything always works out.

Re: anxiety about having a baby
I have anxiety everynight about this baby coming, I can hardly get any good sleep. I know its normal but I guess I worry how I'm going to be able to give Julia the same attention she gets now once the baby is here.

Re: anxiety about having a baby
I was totally convinced that DS was going to be early, and he WAS!!!!
I was freaking out that my kitchen was completely dismantled and we were in limbo because we kicked out our tenants so every room in our house needed attention.
I was 2 1/2 weeks early, my house was a disaster, just like I predicted becasue DH is an *** and didn't listen to me...
But it all worked itself out and it will for you too.....
Don't freak, you've done this before!!!!!

Re: anxiety about having a baby
thanks ladies. sometimes my hormones get the best of me. my newest fear is getting my daughter to sleep in a bed. she still wants the crib. she will play in the big girl room with all her stuff but at night time she only wants the crib.

Thank you for posting this- I have been feeling EXACTLY the same way- it was so nice to hear other mommies feel this way too.
