yikes. It's a logical solution to a scarey situation!
I need more information on it to decide if it's logical, how does it not hurt the woman wearing it? Is it thick, etc?
Not to be gross,,,,but it that "attaches" to the raper wouldn't he bleed immediately?

What I'm wondering is... what if a lady has one (because u know u have to wear that all the time - u dont know when u might get raped), and u get all hot with their man and forget to take it off? Ouch! Poor guy!

Initially, I felt as Waterhouse does:
“If a victim is wearing such a device it may enrage the attacker further and possibly result in more harm being caused,” said Sam Waterhouse, advocacy coordinator for Rape Crisis.
But I find the concept very interesting. It *IS* about time something new is being done...especially in S. Africa where rape is so rampant.

Did you read the article? It didnt give all that much specific information. But maybe if you Google it you will find more.
