If we reprimand and punish children for continuing bad behavior after repeatedly being told not to do something.. why is it ok for him to get away with it and be rewarded with a Mayorship?
i mean, he's a grown man - control yourself, stop lying to your wife, stop lying to the people who you are asking to vote for you, and just do the right thing and withdraw from the race.
i can't vote in this election, but if i could NO way would i vote for him. He's proven he thinks he's above the law and above societies mores
i don't care if it's 'the norm' and other politicians have done the same thing. His actions go a long way to describing the type of person that he is, in both his personal and professional life

See, I don't really care what the guy does. We don't know if he has an arrangement with his wife. Also, you never know who in your personal life may have the same indiscretions yet be perfectly capable of performing their career related duties. I don't see how the two go hand in hand.

I think he should drop out. For me, his biggest sin was not so much the texting or tweeting of inappropriate pictures to strange women but a) how he handled the entire incident (denying it, then admitted it later),and b) lying to media about how it would never happen again (3 more incidents have surfaced AFTER his resignation proving he sent more tweets only last year ).
I can understand accept that politicians are human beings and make mistakes. I usually dont care whether they have one incident of sexual infidelity, hired escorts, or do drugs in their personal bedrooms - however I have a problem with a politician gets called out on their tawdry behavior deny it, or flat out say it wont ever happen again and it does. If he cant even trust himself to stay honest with himself, what hope does he have of ever being honest and trustworthy as a NYC mayor? No way. He needs to drop out, and drop out now because as one pundit claimed, ' the only thing he is addicted to is running for office'.

Normally, I am quite liberal about these things. I'm sure many politicians engage in this type of behavior and just don't get caught. However, the fact that he didn't have the impulse control and judgement to change his behavior AFTER the first scandal is quite disturbing. I would be concerned that it might spill over into his ability to lead.
