Anterior Placenta Question

Anyone else have an anterior placenta? I'm 20 weeks and haven't felt my Chat Icon yet...I know it's because my placenta is acting as a cushion between him and my belly, but wondering when I will be able to feel him move? Anyone with a similar experience?

I do! I just started to feel the baby (I think in the last two days) I'm 21 weeks. I can actually see the baby make my skin twitch on the outside. I noticed that and felt the baby in the same day.

Re: Anterior Placenta Question

I had an anterior placenta when I was preggo with DD. My OB said that for those who had an anterior placenta, it takes them a little bit longer to feel the baby move. I first start feeling DD when she was around 20 weeks but I feel her more consistent when she was around 24wks.

Re: Anterior Placenta Question

I'm just about 23 weeks and I haven't felt our little Chat Icon yet. The Dr said it was completetly normal and some mothers may go an entire pregnancy without actually feeling their baby.

They confirmed my baby was healthy and doing well, so I'm not worried.Chat Icon

I have an anterior placenta....it def delays feeling movement.

I didnt feel my Chat Icon move untl about 23+ weeks. Even then it was still very infrequent.

Prob around 30+ weeks was I feeling consistent movement.

Re: Anterior Placenta Question

I have AP with this pregnancy. Im 23 weeks and started feeling the baby about 2 weeks ago. It's definitely stronger now, similar to how I was at 19 or 20 weeks last preg.
