Another update to my crazy early pregnancy experience
Yesterday I posted that at an early (5w) ultrasound they could not find a sac and dr really thought it could be ectopic.
He just called and my hcg on 11/8 was 224 and yesterday, 11/15 it was 1400. He was happy with the increase and said that 1500 is the magic number of being able to see something in the uterus so it may just be that I was too early. Ectopic is not fully ruled out yet of course but we have hope now. I go for a beta tomorrow and will know the results on Monday. If they look good we will probably do another U/S
Please keep the prayers and sticky dust coming my way. What a roller coater ride of emotions I am on right now.

Another update to my crazy early pregnancy experience
5 weeks is really early to see anything...at 5 weeks 6 days all we saw was the sac and yolk...your hcg level to see something is 1000-2000...I know its stressful but I hope you see something next week.

I hear SO many stories like this, went for an early sono, didn't show enough/anything, OB gives bad news, turns out it was just a bit too early. I don't understand why they even DO ultrasounds this early for this very reason! A friend of mine had her VERY well respected OB tell her to schedule a D&C after her very early US didn't show what he expected. Well she decided to wait a bit and that baby is now over a year old. I hope this is the case for you also!

Stories like this make me sooooo mad!!! Why would a doctor not wait to see if things progressed? Does not make any sense to me! I went in at 7 weeks and they couldn't find a heartbeat, they didn't panic, they didn't say anything just had me come back in 4 days. Heartbeat was just not visible when they did the initial sono! Please tell me your friend switched OB's

Thank you girls. You really know how to make me stop thinking so negaticely. I still have my guard up but a lil more hopeful than I was yesterday. I am just so scared of an ectopic
