another sprinkler spinoff - what am i supposed to do?!

What is this blowing out that's being discussed? We've had our house 10 days. I wish it came with an instruction manual! Please help, what am i supposed to do with my IGS?

You need to hire a company that will come to blow out the water in the lines, otherwise they can freeze and damage your lines underground. Don't try to "save" the $60 or so $$ it will cost b/c if you do not have them blown...you could be looking at $$$$$ to repair the lines for next year.

See if you can find who the previous owner used or another local co, or ask for recs on here. Blow outs should be done by end of Nov, before ground starts freezing.
