another short sale question

Who am I suppose to be calling everyday to push them and get answers.


My lawyer who is really good has his mother working as his secretary and she is a very harsh woman. I am not getting anywhere with her when I call. She just keeps telling me "I said I will call you when I hear something"

am I suppose to be calling my realtor or my lawyer?

for us its our real estate agent - she calls the seller's agent every few days and the seller's agent is supposed to be checking with the bank for us - the seller's agent gets back to our realtor who in turn gets back to us - and usually with no update .....

it turns out that our real estate agent is away on vacation this week so DH and I have took it upon ourselves to call the seller's agent directly - not really sure if we are supposed to be doing that but we figure our excuse is that our agent is away and we want some answers....

I am waiting to hear back from my agent now. he said he is putting in a call to their agent.

I just cant take the waiting anymore. I want to get in and so i can tell my current landlord to suck it. (old lady who was really nice up until a few months ago and now she is super nasty. she calls at 3 in the morning to say that she hears a noise - meaning that we are being to loud, at 3am chances are that we are sleeping - dud. DH told her the last time that she called that the only noise she is hearing is in her head and then hung up on her.)
