another negative
I was hoping for a special gift for DH for our anniversary today, but I got another negative HPT. As of today I am 8 days late for when AF "should" have shown up.

Well I just spoke to the midwife at my office and she said it sounds like I ovulated, but there was no egg. Hence, no AF. So now I don't know what the heck is going on and I'm so upset. I have this horrible fear that pregnancy is just not going to happen like it did for DS (we got preggo on the 3rd month.) she said for us to have sex everything 3 nights and that way I can't really miss my wondow, if there even is one this month.  I'm just so upset right now. And DH is telling me he is going to be stuck late at work tonight on our anniversary.

I'm confused. Don't you have to shed the uterine lining regardless? So she doesn't think you will get a period? Is that not a concern? Sorry for all the questions. Why is this all so confusing?

I agree, I completely confused by the whole thing too. Basically, she said I may skip this month, even up to 3 months. From the dates I told her, it sounds like I ovulated (or something like it) on time, I PMSed on schedule and now no AF. She said to have sex every three days, but I will probably buy OPKs and see if/how long it takes to get a  .
