Another heartbreak....
Yesterday, my DH put down my family dog, Lady (16 year old dachshund. She left behind her two "puppies" (Oreo and Teddy, both from her first and only litter , they are 14 years old).
Oreo was very, very attached to her mom, Lady. Teddy does her own thing.
Like I said earlier, Lady died yesterday...and now my parents call me to tell me that Oreo can't walk, is having bloody stool and won't eat....this all happened in 24 hours.
They are brining Oreo in tomorrow for my DH to examine her. I have a very bad feeling that she is also dying and will be put to sleep fairly soon.

Oh Kathy I am so sorry to hear about Lady. I remember when she was a puppy and you brought her home.
