another ? for those with bfp's
This may sound crazy but did any of you just know that the cycle you got your bfp was "the cycle". And I mean like really early on, like yesterday I got my first peak on the cbefm (today was day 2 of peak) and I just have this overwhelming feeling that this is it. I don't even know if I O'd yet so I'm probably just being crazy. Or maybe it's because I have been trying so hard to think positive and put positive energy out there.

I honestly have had that feeling for both positive AND negative cycles.. However, I want to add that I was told that studies show women who think positively have better outcomes!!

It's not a crazy question at all.
BUT I personally did not have that feeling. As a matter of fact DH asked me a few days after O if I felt anything. I answered "NO!" very quickly and matter of factly and without thinking about it.
it was only a few short days after that, that I felt implantation... and came in the bedroom to tell him "I think I'm getting pregnant right now".... 4 days after that I had a BFP.
So I didn't have an inkling... no until I physically felt the implantation happen.

I will admit that the cycle I got a BFP we had a consult with Dr B... and that was making me feel optimistic that this was going to happen. Even though I didn't at all feel that was my cycle... I felt like it was going to happen and that alone could possibly have helped me.

no. after such a long ttc journey all i did during IVF was PRAY that it would be it. i was in CONSTANT fear that it wouldn't be. on the day i tested i was so afraid it would say BFN. i had no inkling either way.

I had *that* feeling in the back of my head but wouldn't let myself think about it. My dh said a few times that he thought I was (a few days before I tested)but I kept telling him I hadn't even O'd (or so I thought) yet. With my 1st we were both surprised.
