Another flutter question...
Do you feel them high or low at first (I'm almost 14 weeks) or doesn't it matter? I have this strange feeling for two days in my upper right stomach that feels like flutters if I ever felt them but I think it's just gas

Re: Another flutter question...
I was having those same exact flutters very early on (14 weeks or so)- in my upper stomach area. I dont think thats the baby. At first, I thought it was- but then I asked one of my friends who is a BTDT- and she thought the same thing at first when she starting having them. She asked her Dr about them, but its just stretching, etc.
Now that I am having really flutters and feeling real movment- its mostly where the baby is. Usually I feel them about halfway between my belly button and my hair line.

Re: Another flutter question...
I'm not sure exactly where your uterus goes up to at that point but i am pretty sure it is least an inch an a half below your belly button or more - so if the fluttering is not below this area i would say it is not the baby. Hope this helps
For me - the movement is usually concentrated on the lower right side. In the beginning it was very low - now at 19 weeks it is sometimes half way between. But, then again, I am still not exactly *sure* it is the baby with all the different weird feelings i am experiencing now adays! It was only last week that I think I can be certain.

This is where I feel mine, lower belly, I'd say right in the middle of my pelvic area.

Definitely lower. I had a Sono last week and I told the tech I was feeling gas bubble like sensations. She asked where and I showed her it was low (by my old C section incision. She said it was the baby.

So did I - and that was around 16-18 weeks or so. I really had no idea what it was.

Re: Another flutter question...
flutters are a lot lower...look at it this way..you uterus doesnt come up above your pubic bone until about 13 weeks or so...and doesnt reach your belly button until about 20 weeks..
what does happen is that the expanding uterus moves all your other organs up and out of place so you feel things in places that you havent before...
