Another Daycare Gift WWYD?

Ok - both DS are in daycare FT.

DS 1 has a head teacher and 2 assistant, DS 2 has a head teacher and 1 assistant.

2 of the assistants (one in each class) are there ALL day and my DH and my DSs land I love them.

1 of the assistants isn't there a lot (I think she's technically PT since she's going to school for nursing) and I haven't seen her name on DS 2's sheet much.

Same amount for all assistants? I plan on giving the 2 assistants that are there all the time the same amount as the head teachers.

I'm thinking yes since they talk but, I just feel that the others go above and beyond...

ETA - If i could just give it the way I want to - I would give the two assistants I love more than the head teachers because I feel they do more.

I am in the same boat. There are 2 i love 1 is only part time and the other was off injured for 6 weeks. DS is only there since september so there has been many changes since then. I feel like the 2 that deserve it wont get what they should. So i decided against money and will do a big gift basket for them to share instead.

i would just give them all the same amount. I personally dont get the difference between the head and assistant to me it seems like the do all the same thing. I would debate about the person there part time also and probably come to the conclusion of just giving everyone the same thing.

In a lot of classes, I felt the assistant did more than the head (one class I never met the head, she was never there)... I think the difference is level of education.

I feel like "head teacher" is a title. One of the teachers will be getting more than the head teachers because I feel like she deserves it.

It really depends on how you feel.

I was a floater, FT, and worked in the infant, toddler and preschool rooms. But spent most of my time in the Preschool room. I knew all of the parents. Some gave me the same as the "Head" teacher, some gave less. Some in the other classrooms gave me while others didn't. I never cared. I did a lot more than 1 of the head teachers(in the classroom) in the Preschool room but she's also the director of the school but still got less.

I didn't care. Whatever I got was appreciated.
