WWYD? Daycare gift related

On Wednesday I brought in all the gifts for the boys teachers. Spent a lot, but they are a great school and go above and beyond.

Mason is 2 1/2 and in the toddler class. Been there since September.
He was in the Waddler class b4. He had a teacher Miss Renee. She started as the Head Waddler Teacher around March (she took over for another teacher who left)
Her and DS had a great bond and I really liked her a lot. WHen he moved up I got her a "end of year" gift
He's in the class next to her now and sees her all the time, but she is no longer the teacher.
Anyway, I never got her a gift and the other day when DH picked the boys up Miss Renee told DH she has a gift for the boys. Cute little snowglobe snowmen with their name on it and a sweet note how she misses us and Mason.
Now I feel bad b/c I didn't get her anything.
I wrote a nice "thank you" note for her and told DH to pick up some cookies or something to give to her when he picks up Mason today.
Is that good?

absolutely, cookies are always a good idea. You could also give a box of chocolate. I did that with an assistant who helps out in my sons pre-k class one afternoon a week. I wanted to get her alittle something b/c I know my DS really likes her, but since she's not really in the room, I didnt want to get a GC ( I gave that to the kids teachers and assistants who work directly with my kids). Also maybe give her your holiday card too, so she has a picture of your DS

Already sent the holiday card to the school so it's in the classroom. SHe also has prof pics I had done of the boys.
DH is going to Wegmans later so have him pick something nice up there
