a rolling, laughing plush monkey toy
It has an insane laugh that seriously creeped us out and scared DS! It rolls around jerkily on the floor flopping like a dead fish
we returned it

At first I HATED the Sleep Sheep. It was so creepy - the heartbeat sound, and the whale sounds. But now I love it. It grew on me.
I don't know what possessed me to give it a chance.

Lol!! This toy has gone off in the middle of the night and scared the bejeezus out of me when I heard it on the monitor. I now make sure it is on top of DD's toy bin, so that nothing can bump into the paw that turns it on.

I gave my nephew the YO Gabba Gabba boom box. It plays 4 songs! I had it here at work and played it for my coworkers and they agreed my sister was going to kill me. Her son loves it and they don't mind.
I would hate the "jumpy jump jump" song!!!!!

My mother bought this for DS. DH and I HATE it! I try to hide it, but inevitably one of my boys finds it again. A friend of mine bought DS a singing bee toy for christmas a couple of years ago. It is the creepiest thing ever. It sounds like that old speak and spell toy and goes off randomly. It got banished downstairs when DH and I were watching TV late one night and all of a sudden we heard "come play with me" from the corner of the room!

I hate Vtech toys. They are so loud and it takes forever for them to turn off after you stop playing with them. Banned in our home.

Ours does the same thing! We will be sitting on the couch watching tv at the end of the day. The baby is asleep in his crib. And all of a sudden, from across the room, we'll hear "Hee hee, that tickles!"  Freaks us out every time.

OMG we have this too! It was in DDs room- away from her crib and I heard it through the monitor in the middle of the night

I got my daughter counting cookie jar. It's a great toy to learn numbers, but it doesn't have an on off switch.....the slightest vibration sets it off so I keep it in our office when she's not playing with it.

def vtec toys. dd had the car one and that thing never shut up. I try not to buy vtec at all. She did get the dog for a gift-she could never play with it because it would never finish what it was saying or doing because it would start something new!
also a gift was (hope my friend who gave her this doesnt read this)
Little Mommy Play All Day Baby.
That doll never shut up and to me she sounded like a drunk slut.
btw most of these toys ended up at my mils house---well except for the doll, she made sure we took it home.

I agree with all of the above, but what annoys me the most is the sound puzzles. They go off when I'm walking around the house. It annoys me and scares the crap out of me all at the same time.

omg...Furby is the annoying toy in hour house!! He doesnt shut up for such a long time and it talks like a valley girl and i want to throw it out the back door sometimes!! haha!

It does, but you have to open him up and I am always forgetting to do that! DD really does love him though.
But, OMG, it was sent to her as a Christmas present, wrapped. We stuck it under the tree and it was there for weeks without a sound. Then, one night, at like 3 am I woke up hearing what sounded like a small child's voice. It freaked me out so much, I was looking outside thinking that some little kid was wandering the streets! Took awhile to figure out where the noise was actually coming from.
Now the worst part about it is that it loves to randomly go off just as she's falling asleep!

DS has these 2 lawnmowers that when you push them they make these loud revving popping noise. He runs as he is pushing them and it is so loud. You can't hear anything but that. I want to toss them out the door but he plays with them constantly.
That and the Little Einstein puzzle that every time you turn off the light in the room you here "Way to go Rocket."
