Anemic
So I passed the 1 hour glucose test!!!!! WHEWWWW
but, she said I'm showing signs of anemia, and need to go on an additional iron vitamin.
Anyone else have this? Can it cause any complications? TIA

I have this...I still have to go buy an iron supplement. I had it in my last pregnancy also and it didn't cause complications.

The extra iron can cause severe constipation. Make sure you take a stool softener with it...

I just got diagnosed with anemia, too. Today at my appt, my doctor gave me a script for an iron supplement.

It's funny because it has the opposite effect on me. I had severe constipation before. As soon as I started taking the iron supplement I actually can go like a regular person. My doctor said it can cause either effect.

I had this last pregnancy with DD...took an iron supplement, and had no problems....

I was borderline with both pregnancies...I just take an over the counter iron supplement...no probs.
