The saga continues. There had been loose floor tiles that i actually had to TAPE down in the bathroom. We asked the contractor to slop some grout on it til we remodel. Needless to say, when he pulled up the tape, a huge portion of the floor came up. Grrrr.

I think parts of this house are so dated that the Cleavers may have lived here. The original house, before extensions was a 2 bedroom house. It is now a 4 bedroom house - the 4th bedroom not having a window, but a skylight that is and was used as an office. But 2 owners ago, they had TEN people living here. Mother, Father and 8 kids. EIGHT FRIGGIN KIDS!!! Now the house is a decent size for 2 kids, but 8? Come on now. There should be occupancy laws against that. You'd have to see the house to understand.

This happened in my old house, and it was a mold issue, the roof was leaking at one of the vents and running down the wall between the bedroom and bathroom, over time it deteriorated the sheetrock, but when we redid the bathroom new sheetrock was put in - just try not to disturb it too much...
