Amniotic fluid
How do you know if you are leaking it and what are the dangers if you are? TIA

Well they say it won't smell like urine...so that's one way to tell but for me, it was hard because throughout my PG I had a lot of discharge and also what I thought were small leaks. The one way to tell 100% is see your OB and they will test the fluid and they can tell you if it's amniotic fluid or not.
Dangers of leaking fluid - if you've lost a lot its not good for the baby to have low amniotic fluid levels. But I dont know what the specific dangers are. If you are toward the end of your pregnancy, it could be a sign that labor is near - many women dont have their water break, some have slow leaks, some don't have anything.

I've read that low fluids can lead to infection so you don't want to go in a pool, bath, or have sex.

I thought I was "leaking" recently. My panties were soaked and it was not urine or creamy discharge...they did an internal to check my fluids and cervix and everything thankfull looked fine. I guess it was just sweat
