Am I the only weirdo that feels this way?

I went over my parents' house this weekend and my mom was touching my belly and for some reason I just felt uncomfortable. I know I shouldn't feel this way because it's my mom not a stranger but I just did. I love my mom to death so I don't know why I feel this way!

I remember that when I was pregnant with my DD, it felt really weird in the beginning. But once my belly was huge and she was kicking people all the time anyway, it was kinda fun and exciting for them to feel her kick, so I didn't mind it anymore.

I don't think I'll enjoy anyone touching my stomach besides DH! Especially long lingering rubs

You're not the only one! When I was pregnant it was weird for anyone to rub my belly, even my husband. I didn't mind him feeling kicks, but to just rub my belly any old time felt strange to me.

You're belly is still small. Once it gets big, it's almost like it's not your stomach. It's weird. But I think it may be a little early for the tummy rubs, especially since the baby is still kind of low.

Honestly, I feel like just cuz you're pregnant doesn't give people the right to just come over and touch your belly, but everyone does it.

If I wasn't pregnant, would people come over and feel me up? I think not But I've gotten so used to it at this point...

I'm probably the minority here, but I love belly rubs. Just not from a stranger. But family, friends, coworkers.. I like it

I'm only 13 weeks but I HATE the belly rubs so far, unless it's from DH. I'm hoping I learn to love it as I know it's not going to stop anytime soon.

UGGGHHHH my MIL would do this to me everytime I saw here in the beginning and now she just say to me "OMG you are so big" really you just saw me yesterday so I don't think I got any bigger in the 18 hrs.

The touching of the belly by family isnt so bad now that Im bigger but in the beginnign it was just wierd.

anyone's hand that comes near my belly (except DH's) is at risk of being chopped off.

most people can sense that by looking at me, i think.

I felt like this too in the beginning. It is awkward when you don't really have a belly. Now that I am BEYOND big, it doesn't really bother me to have people touch. (That is as long as I know them!)

hate the belly touching. No one has touched me this time so far-- but I guess because everyone I know is pregs and I also barely look pregnant. I carried the same way last time, and I think that is why it really bothered me because my belly was obv different, but I didn't have this big baby belly-- it still felt like MY belly and under other circumstances, no one would be coming up to me and rubbing my mid section.

Yes and no. I'm only 20 weeks so even though I can feel the baby and sometimes see movement, like twitches, it's not strong or often enough for someone to feel just by rubbing me randomly. If my DH sits with his hand there long enough he will feel something. I feel like unless someone wants to feel a kick, which they would to have wait for (and might not get one!) why touch the belly? If it's because they want to feel something that's cool and when I'm further along hopefully I can share that but to just rub it for no reason is a little weird to me and it does make me a little uncomfortable. I think when it's bigger it will be less weird. I think?
