Am I the only one.....

Who is still in denial and still doesn't think its real.....Let me explain....

I am 25w tomorrow...and realized the other day that the thought of there being a little human in me with 2 arms and 2 legs and an actual person who could potentially survive outside the womb at this point! It seems so unreal to know this! I really think I am just in denial and think the baby is going to be delivered by a stork :)

Thinking it may not feel real to me until she actually comes out!

Am i alone?

Definitely not. The other day my dad was lecturing me about the importance of bedrest that turned into how I need to make my home more safe, blah blah blah so I ended up tuning him out. He then says "you know...it's not just about you anymore. You have someone else you have to think about."
Me: "Eh, DH can fend for himself."
Dad: "Not him you idiot!"
Me: "Well who are you talking about?"

Uh duh! Granted, I am blonde and have preggo brain so I think that needs to be taken into consideration. LOL

I am 25.5 weeks and I am in absolute denial as well. Besides the growing belly I feeel great. I am also busy chasing my 16 month old around so I have no time to even breathe let alone think about the fact that I am pregnant. I am also in denial because this pregnancy was a complete shock and absolutely unplanned so that is prob part of it too.

I felt that way around 25 weeks too. Now at almost 34 weeks, its becoming more "real" but Im still not sure how he thinks hes going to come out of there.

no, I have a hard time picturing actual reality. I am prepared, I have the nursery 90% set up, but when I see the 3 cribs I wonder whose house I am in.

I remember with DD feeling very ready and the second they told me that I was fully dilated and ready to go, I was wondering how to get her out of me....very weird. But you do it and then their here and you LOVE them!!!!

I forget I'm pregnant a lot (well, actually not as much now that I've hit 27 weeks-the heft is too much to over look).

When I think that soon I will have a 3rd kid running around, I just wonder about how we will keep up

I'm right there with you.. I can't imagine that I'm going to be a mom.. counting on me, depending on me.. I sometimes feel like I can't even count on me being there for myself.. how am I going to be there for my baby.

I think so highly of my mom, the eptiome of a true mother, and all that she does, did and is going to be doing for me and her grandchild, and I'm like that's a mom.. and I feel like I don't even come close.

I feel the same way. Im 22 weeks and time is going by so fast, I was thinking that i had better start realizing what is about to happen. I haven't started getting ready for anything yet....its ust not real to me yet.

You are not alone. I'm 25 weeks also and while it does feel a little more real now that I did my registry this week I still can't believe that in only 15 weeks (give or take) we will have a real live baby girl

I'm mostly in denial about the delivery. I told my Dr. that I really am not thinking about how she's going to get here but maybe when I do lamaze classes that will change.

I am 22 weeks as well and in the same exact boat! i have NOTHING ready... havent even started looking at baby things....just walked into BBB one day w/ DH and we got completely overwhelmed and left

I am 32 weeks and I still say sometimes to my husband," I cant believe I'm pregnant!"

Usually when I look in a mirror and see my big belly! I just can't really believe it hahahaha

My husband is like," Still???"

It's just amazing and crazy to think there is a little baby moving around in there!!!

I was like this my last pregnancy-- and always said, I won't believe it til I am holding that baby.

I feel similar this time as well.

Sometimes I do things I know I shouldn't be doing at work but I dont feel like I'm pregnant yet and I forget that it doesnt matter how I feel, I cant do things. Reality has started kicking in now that I am showing though.
