Are there any other brands that are less expensive and equivalent to using Dreft?

Re: alternatives to dreft?

you don't need a baby detergent. any dye/fragrance/etc free detergent is fine. it's all the same.

Did they discontinue the Target brand? I thought I read that somewhere.

Re: alternatives to dreft?

I use All Free and Clear since I wanted everyone (Myself and DH) stuff also washed in it. DC will be laying on you alot as a newborn.

Whenever a Aunt or an friend held DS on their shoulders, his face would get red (from the detergent or perfume)

Thanks everyone - I'm thrilled I can save some money on this especially after I had to convince DH that using a special detergent for baby's clothes was mandatory!!
