already stressed out
We haven't even really started trying yet but I am feeling overwhlemed already. I have been on BC for a long time now and I know coming off of it my cycle will most likely be all over the place. We just decided this month to start going for it after having a little "scare" (in loose terms) and realized how much we wanted a baby. But now of course I come here doing research (as is my nature) and I am seeing all the things that some women have to do to get pregnant and I am already a nervous wreck. I know I shouldn't be...but it does feel so overwhelming sometimes doesn't it?

Re: already stressed out
I feel the same way. We just started trying and I am so nervous of all the things that can go wrong. As much as I love these boards they have made me so much more aware of the possibility of having fertility issues or how common miscarriages can be. It really freaks me out sometimes. I always thougt getting pregnant would be so easy but now that I am actively trying, I have come to realize that "easy" is not always the case when it comes to TTC. But I am trying to think positive...

Re: already stressed out
as someone who has problems getitng preggo and have mc alreadya nd been trying close to a year..
dont get stresssed until u have to..u will make ur self nuts!..if u have no medical issues and have reg cycles there is no reason to assume u will have a problem getting pregnant!
this si the fun time..when u can just have sex and hope for the best..
enjoy and try not to stress as hard as it is not to
best of luck

I completely agree. Until I started lurking on here, I had no idea how prevalent these issues were. I can see how it can be very stressful.
As you said, just think positively!

Re: already stressed out
Same here. Actually had a mini panic attack the other day and wouldn't let DH touch me because I was scared to get pregnant and at the same time scared to ttc because if it doesnt happen immediately im going to obsess more than i am now.

I think this is excellent advise. And on top of that, refrain from Google. I have spent many a night googling, webmd-ing, etc. to the point where I have convinced myself I have every problem there is to have.
As for your cycles being crazy after BC, you never really now. Mine went pretty much right back to normal as soon as I stopped and I was on for about 5 years or so. Good luck to you.

Re: already stressed out
It is especially a little nerve racking when I am usually so regular because of being on the pill and normally I would have started AF yesterday. But as of today, no sign yet. Could of course be all the stressing out. I have already tested twice last week (although early) and I will wait to test again until after Wednesday if I still don't see any signs. It doesn't help at all that DH keeps asking if I have gotten it yet because he is STILL convinced that I am preggers!
