Re: Almost fainted
How far along are you?
I was the same way, felt hungry but nothing was appetizing. I actually would force myself to eat. This lasted the whole first trimester. It got better for me in my second trimester, which is where I am now.
I hope you feel better, try to take it easy.

Re: Almost fainted
will staying hydrated help with the fatigue? I have a million questions, but my first dob appt isn't till this Friday (and it's only with the Nurse, not the OB-GYN). I am very thankful I can find support here!

I am about 5 weeks. Just had to throw away my lunch, it was just not doing anything for me.
Thanks

Re: Almost fainted
I had fatigue pretty bad at around 7 weeks to 11 weeks but it's starting to go away.
It got to a point where I would need to pinch myself so as not to snooze at meetings....
It's now 13+ weeks and the symptoms are not entirely gone but they've definitely eased up so I'm able to function more normally.

Re: Almost fainted
I was exhausted all during the 1st trimester, I still have those days now and then. As far as the appetite I couldn't stand to eat anything either even though I was hungry. I would force myself to eat and snack in between meals. Also try to go to bed early. I found that I just ate whatever I could that didn't make me sick. The 2nd trimester has been so much better as far as energy and nausea going away, so hang in there!!!

Re: Almost fainted
the same thing happened to me. You have to eat, and stay hydrated! I found my blood sugar dips much more dramatic now.

Re: Almost fainted
That happened to me..
NOTHING was appetizing I used to tell my hubby that the food on my plate looked like food in a poster, its just ... there.
I would force myself to eat bread and grapes, drink a big glass of milk or drink some soup. Even then NONE of it tasted it good it was a chore to eat. But I kept saying “its for the baby” and would just force it down. If I forgot (which was EASY to do) I’d get really really dizzy.
You gotta eat.
Drinking water did help but you gotta eat. Even if its just lots of little snacks (roll, grapes, milk, etc) just eat like a fist full of solid every couple of hours.
Good luck
(PS: I had no m/s, so this was my plan but it make not work for you)
