after IUI??
2 questions (had an IUI yesterday)...
#1 Can I go swimming today?
#2 What if I didn't ovulate yet?? I checked my BBT this morning and it was low for me. I got my trigger shot Wednesday am and had my IUI yesterday morning. I am scared it won't work After I checked my temp at 6:30 this morning I woke DH up to BD Should my doctor have waited a little longer in between the trigger shot and IUI??

Re: after IUI??
I have gone swimming after IUI. Where the heck do you live that it's warm enough to go swimming? I'm jealous!
I personally, always think that the timing for my IUI's is off. I think I am just a worry-wart though. I ultimately have to trust that the drs know what they're doing. Did you go in for blood and sono this week? If so, what days and what were the sizes of the follies?

Re: after IUI??
I had a sono on wednesday CD12 and there were 2 follicles one from each ovary...one was 20X19 and the other was 21X18. There was a third but it was only 11X?. I had the trigger shot that morning and IUI the next morning (yesterday). I thought I felt O pains last night, but I didn't see my usual temp shift this morning- which of course made me worry. I don't know maybe the clomid and trigger shot messed my temp up. The doctor does not do any post IUI blood work or sonos to conform ovulation. I guess I am just worrying..you're right I should just trust the RE..I mean they do this all the time right?

Re: after IUI??
You'll usually O 36 hours after the trigger... but they do the IUI 24-36 hours after so that the sperm is there waiting for the egg.
You can definitely resume normal activities... enjoy!

Re: after IUI??
I know they usually have me trigger when my follies get larger than 20 or so. That seems to be what they did for you, too!
Hopefully we can both survive the next 2 weeks. I had back-to-back IUI's on Wed and Thurs and just need the next 2 weeks to hurry up!!!!!!!!!

Re: after IUI??
You ovulate 24-36 hours after trigger and the guys survive for a bit, so don't worry - I'm sure the timing was fine. Relax and enjoy your normal routine. Good luck!
