how long did it take to get your period?

It took about 5 weeks for me to get it back,I think - it was over 3 years ago

I got my period the next cycle. My cycles are on the short side though. My first cycle off was 26 days long.

I had a "normal" cycle. AF showed up 31 days after I stopped. But since then it's been a little unpredictable ranging anywhere from 31-35 days.
Before the pill I was a steady 28 days.

i got it the next month, on time....
the question isn't really when you'll get AF - it's when will you ovulate....
the pill throws that off for some girls... a close friend of mine - it took her 8 months off the pill before she ovulated...

My 1st cycle off was 27 days. I'm on my 2nd cycle now. I am hoping they stay regular!!!

So, did you ladies start testing for the O right away or did you try to let nature take it's course first? Does this make sense? I guess what I am asking is did you girls jump right into the testing and marking the dates as soon as you went off the pill and wanted to TTC? Or was it after you were off the pill and not getting BFP?

mine was normal right after coming off BC. I didn't test for O until the 3rd cycle off BC.

i'm not TTC yet...but went off it in june for other reasons, got AF a month later in july and then didnt get it till last week i hate the pill and am so glad i went off it and i am praying that i will get back to some sort routine with my AF as we want to TTC in the spring/summer
