Anne, Which RE do you see? Just wondering. Congrats again!
P.S. I can understand being sad about the second sac not developing further, but the good news is you heard a nice strong heartbeat. Happy & Healthy 9 months!

Ahh...I thought you went to NS. Yes, I am actually seeing Dr. Rausch tomorrow for our first ultrasound. I think I'll be 5 weeks 4 days then. I was surprised they're doing a sono this early since I know it's too early for a hb. Also, I was surprised I just had a beta last Monday and they didn't want me to come back till tomorrow (a week). I know they'll do more blood then, I just thought I was going to go back last wed. to make sure my levels are rising.
DH told me to stop over thinking!!!!! They are the doctors and know what they're doing. I know he's right. I just need to relax.
So did they release you to your OB or not yet?

Re: After 2 1/2 years.....
Since I did a 3dt my beta was 14dp3dt. It was a long long long wait. Although it was hard to wait until 14dp3dt, my number was within range, and higher than my previous cycles. I thought it was strange too but they are the docs and know what they are doing:) What was your beta?
My first sono was at 5 weeks 5 days (we were going to go 2 days earlier but couldn't make it work with my husband's work schedule) and that is when we saw 2 sacs and some very swollen ovaries. Then at 6 weeks 5 days we saw the heartbeat!!!! It was so amazing!!! Dr. Cohen said I "graduated" but since my new OB cannot see me for 3 weeks he is going to continue to see me:)
Good luck!!! I really liked Dr. Rausch. She explained everything to us very clearly and was so nice. By the way, my husband kept telling me the same thing as yours. It's so hard not to worry and be anxious through this whole process.
