AF or implant bleeding
so i woke up this morning and it looks like AF is here very early. so far i have cramps, but very light flow. for my last two cycles i had a LP of 15 days. if this is in fact AF, my LP this cycle would only have been 9 days. i thought LP was the same for every cycle. what makes it even stranger is that for my last two cycles I O'd on CD 15, this month i O'd on CD 18, so of course i assumed AF would be here later. my last two cycles were 29-30 days, this cycle would only be 26 days.
any advice, words of wisdom? i'm actually getting emotional (not in a good way) over this, because now i'm worried there's something wrong w/ my body.

i used a tampon this morning (since i don't have liners at home) and when i took it out, there wasn't much on there, not like AF. most if it was old/dark brown, but there was still some fresh blood on there (sorry if TMI).

so it was a mixture of brown... and bright red blood??
usually implantation is pinkish.. that is why i am asking

on my tampon it was brown i think because it had been there for a while. this morning when i noticed it it was bright orangey/pinky red. that was also the color of the "fresh" blood on the tampon.

I'd say... use a pad for now.
See how it goes - if it persists or increases, then we'll assume it's AF, but if it stops, then could be IB.

that would be the smart thing to do, wouldn't it i will def go get some.
i did have one other question - can stress affect the length of your LP? i think that's why i O'd later this month.

sounds like when I was pregnant with ds. I thought af showed early. TMI alert. It was very dark red and brown. It filled a liner but not enough for a pad. I had it for 2 days then poof gone. It was 12&13dpo when I get af at 15dpo. I had cramps and threw a fit bc af showed. When it stopped after 2 days I tested and got a bfp. good luck

yeah, i've had bad cramps all day long, and all week long. i'm just trying to relax, because i know it's too early for AF, but i don't want to get my hopes up either.

You're def. in the window for IB, btu the brown blood seems off. Stress can affect LP, AF and everything else.
Try to relax and see what happens, good luck!!!!
