I can see this is exciting from all of the posts...but can you fill me in on what an IUI is? I've seen it posted before but no clue what it is.

IUI is intrauterine insemination. I have unexplained infertility so we are moving onto having some help. DH will make love to a cup then they shoot his washed sperm into my uterus. Its done at my obgyn. The sperm still has to swim and fertilize the egg by itself but it gives the sperm some help. And even then I O on my own my dr put me on clomid which helps give my eggs a boost.

They also wash the sperm first so it's the strongest ones that get put there.
