AF 4 months after c-section

Hey ladies! Ever since my c-section back in Sept, my periods have come every 28 days but VERY heavy....now, I just got my period only 14 days after my last one and it is RIDICULOUSLY heavy. I am worried because it came 2 weeks early. Did this happen to anyone else? I have always been so consistent and i am worried that this isn't normal....

nothing is consistent with me anymore either. one month AF decided not to grace me with her presence at all. but bleeding is SO heavy and it usually lasts about 24-36hours like that then it's pretty much gone.

Yeah super stupid heavy I remember that. I called and they said no big deal.

Really it did lighten up but not back to 'normal' levels. I finally got an IUD which has had the opposite effect VERY light periods to the point of annoying (liners only) but I'll take it over heavy.

I got my first AF 2.5 months after my c-section. Then it skipped a month. Then the next time I got it, I thought I was going to bleed to death. I was so sick..After 3 months, I went back to the OB and she put me on birth control. I was feeling so much better my the next time around.. I was bleeding so heavy, that I became anemic. I was dizzy and lightheaded. I couldn't take care of my DS by myself...I am still on the pills because it has regulated me....

I also had c-section in september. AF just arrived first time on 1/17... It was ridiculously heavy. I havent had another cycle yet, so I cant help... but when I asked dr about it he said its totally normally because that lining was building up...

after my CS my AF was super duper heavy for about 3 cycles before it finally calmed down.. it still is much heavier now than it ever has been- but I think it's a function of my age (this happened to my mom & grandma as well around 35)..
