Adult luxuries
What are some things you just treasure?
Having some alone time in the mornings on certain days is so nice now (since school started) and I've enjoyed a nice drive while enjoying coffee and listening to music without hearing a video game beeping in the background. I went to Target and wasn't harassed to buy goldfish crackers or matchbox cars. I'm thinking about joining a fitness class.
What do you like to do for yourself, alone? I love naps too.

DH and I have no kids, so we don't have the "alone" time issues (per se) parents have.
I LOVE going out to breakfast on Saturday or Sunday by myself and either watching a TV show on my IPAD, or reading. I LOVE just sitting and..being.
love taking the dog for a walk around the neighborhood.
When its hot, sitting on the porch in the back, just laying on the wood and taking in the sun.

Love getting my nails done. I get a long pedicure and read. I enjoy going to the docks with my coffee and book on mornings where I'm off. I also enjoy going to my morning exercise class once every other week when I can go into work late

I love a good nap.
I love when I can be alone in the kitchen (no kids) and just relax and cook, it's my therapy. I love the whole process of bringing a meal together.
I love sitting outside in the cool, crisp fall air with all of the changing colors and just be. It's so relaxing.
I love spending quiet, alone time with my DH. He's my favorite person in the whole world and I always feel so happy and relaxed when we're together. I really enjoy our time together.
I love the rare occasion when I can go into a store alone and take my time looking around and doing a little shopping..............especially around the holidays. I love seeing the decorations and hearing the Xmas music play in the background. It just makes me feel so happy!!
I love a nice, adult dinner out with no kids to pick off my plate and drive me crazy.
I love some  with DH.............it makes me feel less stressed after a long, busy day and it keeps us connected as a couple.
I love getting into a really good book, it's a nice escape from the daily grind.
I love crisp, clean, cold sheets when I climb into bed. Makes for the BEST night of sleep!

Walking around Home Goods, lol
I take this weight class at the gym 3x week. I love how I feel !

Me and dh are bar people we will pick sitting up at the bar and ordering a few beers and burgers over a fancy dinner anyday. So when we get to go just the two of us , its bliss lol
I LOVE when kids and dh are asleep and I can catch up on my young and the restless and bold and the beautiful hahahah
Shopping alone anywhere is a breath of fresh air.

Nice thing about divorce is every other weekend without kids.
I spend lots of quality time with BF and we:
Walk the dog, hike, boat, sit on a float in the water, shop, eat out, drink, sleep in, go to bed early lol. We also talk a lot so nice to have time to do that.
I also love a short nap, reading and watching a FULL movie or even a 1 hour show.

Working from home - it allows me so much freedom and I'm grateful for it
Going for walks by the water
All summer I went to the beach about 4x. A week. Sometimes alone, sometimes w family.

right now it's kickboxing. Its the first thing I'm doing for myself since my twins were born. Im only going once a week right now but hopefully I can go more often in the near future.
Manis and Pedis. Im lucky if I can go once a month. I do try though.
I miss watching TV shows from start to finish. I'm such a reality TV junkie but I really haven't been watching tv at all since I returned to work after maternity leave. Hopefully I can get in some TV time soon.

I'm enjoying not having a major agenda. Just dropped off DS at school.
Getting an oil change right now.
Planning to go to a morning yoga class and then shopping for shoes.

I can't wait until after this baby is born to get my hair done again, ( i am one of those paranoid folks that doesn't color during pregnancy)

Reading a book from cover to cover in one night!
Weekends away at Mohegan Sun with DH!! (This hasn't happened in a while and won't for a while longer with baby # 2 almost here! )

The time of night after both kids are asleep is the best. I feel like a prisoner being freed LOL!
In the summer when it would stay light out late, DH and I would sit on the porch in the evenings with a cold drink & just relax (didn't happen as often as I would have liked but a few times & it was great).
Watching non-kid tv shows.
Going for a run (hasn't happened in forever but I used to love it)
Going for a drive or going shopping by myself
If we're talking really luxurious, a massage or dinner out would be like heaven these days!
